My name is Alpine Hall. Many of you may remember me as Alpine Williams. I taught fourth grade at Garland Elementary in 2022-2023 and 2023-2024, and I am so excited to be back with the fourth grade team that I started my journey as a teacher with!
I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and then headed to Louisiana Tech University to play soccer and pursue elementary education degree. After graduating, I moved to Utah where I started teaching fourth grade at the best school, Garland Elementary. I ended up moving after getting married and teaching in Louisiana and Nevada. I absolutely love teaching, and Garland showed me how amazing fourth grade is! I am beyond excited to be back at my roots this year!
Outside of the classroom, I am a big fan of anything that has to do with athletics and sports. I love working out, playing soccer, taking my dog on walks, and supporting my husband in his football career. This summer we lived in Poland while he played for their Professional European Team. We traveled all over Europe and had the best time! Sports has a big part of my heart, and I love bringing the lessons it taught me into my classroom everyday.
I am grateful for the opportunity to teach at Garland Elementary School again and working with students that I know and love! I can’t wait to see old faces again and meet the new ones that will be in my classroom! It’s going to be a great year!

I’m Kirsten Lucas, and I am so excited to be joining Garland Elementary as a first-grade teacher this year! I graduated from Southern Utah University with a degree in Elementary Education and have continued working in the classroom since. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and I look forward to creating a classroom where every student feels welcomed, encouraged, and excited to learn. I especially love those “lightbulb moments” when students make a connection and discover something new. When I’m not in the classroom, you can find me reading, crocheting, baking sourdough, or spending time with my mini Goldendoodle, Milo! I love being creative and can’t wait to bring that creativity, joy, and excitement into my classroom. I am so excited to meet students and their families and become part of the Garland Bear family! Here’s to a wonderful school year!
Thank you to Eileen and Reese Udy for hosting the Garland Elementary Staff back to school backyard barbecue at their beautiful home! It was a lovely evening! So great to reconnect after the summer. We are all getting so excited to see our students again!
