In their most recent reading unit, our third grade students have been learning about elections, candidates, and the voting process. To help enrich their learning, our third grade teachers invited Garland Mayor, Danny Austin, to speak to our students. Then they got to participate in their own voting and campaigning process! Well done, 3rd grade!
