Today's spotlight is one of our new kindergarten teachers for 25-26. She's SO good at loving and teaching little learners! Welcome to Kallie Neal! Enjoy her bio and pic-- "Hi everyone, my name is Kallie Neal, and I’m so excited to be joining the Garland Bear family! This will be my fourth year of teaching. I taught 2nd grade for one year before moving to kindergarten, where I’ve spent the last three years. I’m a proud wife to my amazing and supportive husband, Travis. We have three incredible boys: Tazon (17), Grayson (8), and Parker (7). Being a boy mom is the best, and my boys definitely keep me on my toes! Whether we’re at the baseball field, the football field, or just relaxing at home, I love soaking up time with my family. When I manage to find a little spare time, you’ll probably catch me with a good book in hand or working on a craft project. I’m beyond excited to start this new chapter and can’t wait to meet everyone. It’s going to be a great year!"

Here's another wonderful addition to our 5th grade team for the 25-26 school year...Welcome to Rachel Sparks!! Keep reading to find out a little bit about her-- "Hello! My name is Rachel Sparks and I am so excited to start teaching this next year in 5th grade! I will graduate from Utah State with my Bachelor’s degree this Spring. I’ve had experience in Preschool, Kindergarten, 3rd, and 6th grade. I have enjoyed each grade and am excited to continue learning and help others learn. I enjoy reading, baking, mountain biking and good street tacos! I also love music and am a huge Swiftie! I was a Box Elder Bee growing up, but I’m excited to be a Garland Bear at an incredible school with amazing students, parents, and teachers!"

It's time to start getting to know our amazing new teachers for the 25-26 school year! Introducing 5th grade team member, Ashlee Wise! "Hello, My name is Ashlee Wise. I have a bachelors and masters degree from Utah State. I am in my 17th year of teaching. I’ve taught 1st, 2nd, and 5th grade. I have a super awesome husband, Braydon and 3 excellent kids, Shayelle (15), Amree (12), and Jett (9). I love reading, crocheting, Chick fil a, and our dog Fish. I am so excited to be a Garland Bear and join an incredible community of students, parents, and teachers!"

No school for students tomorrow. Teacher PD day. Thank you for supporting McTeacher night! Our school play is free and so darn fun! 6 pm shows tomorrow and Saturday, plus a 2 pm matinee Saturday. The show runs about 100 minutes. Just FYI, if you are considering bringing little ones.

550 boxes of chocolate sold! We are only 50 away from earning our Camp-themed Readathon with the principal sleeping on the roof! We got one more shipment so kids can push to earn the BMX assembly. Let's keep going!! Thank you, everyone!
